Concert Charts: Fierce Showing By Beyonce On Top Tours List

Beyoncé takes over the No. 1 slot on Hot Tours rankings for the latest reporting week with box office totals arriving for her "I Am..." world tour. AEG Live, the promoter of the tour's European leg reports more than $23 million in ticket sales, including four sellouts at London's O2 Arena and four more sellouts at Dublin's O2. European totals from April, May and early June were all reported by AEG during the past week, so combined with more recent U.S. shows promoted by Live Nation, Beyoncé easily lands in the top spot on this week's rankings. With reported grosses topping $36 million since the tour began, her show ranks among the top 15 grossing tours of the year, with still more dates scheduled into the fall.

The summer amphitheater season is well underway and four tours earning spots in the top 10 made stops in North American outdoor venues. Veteran English band Def Leppard is on the road with Poison and Cheap Trick providing support and five of their shed dates chart this week. The Vans Warped Tour kicks off its 15th year with strong initial totals come in for six of its shows. A summer co-headlining package featuring Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd lands on the chart with totals from four venues. Their "Rock and Rebels Tour II," promoted by Live Nation, is a follow-up to last year's successful outing together. Omaha rockers 311 just wrapped this year's Unity Tour with Ziggy Marley and The Expendables. The seven shows reported during the past week top $1.5 million in ticket sales.
