Beyonce Joins Forces With Detroit Area Social Service Agencies To Offer 2,500 Free Concert Tickets To Local Families Affected By Crisis In Auto Indust

NEW YORK, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- After selling out more than 97% of the North American and international dates on her "I AM..." world concert tour, Queen Of Pop, culture icon Beyonce has decided to set aside 2,500 free tickets for her Detroit concert (July 18, Palace of Auburn Hills) for local families affected by the crisis in the auto industry.

Drawn from a list provided by Democratic Congressman Gary Peters, five Detroit-area social service agencies -- Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency, Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency, Youthville, Oakland Family Services, and Community Housing Network -- have been given tickets to Beyonce's upcoming concert to distribute to the local community, with each organization extending invitations to families they serve.

The five community-based organizations selected provide a broad range of social services -- access to food, clothing, health care and housing as well as family and home support -- to Detroit-area residents of all ages, from infants to the elderly.

*AWWW THATS SO SWEET, BEYONCE IS GOING TO GET A BLESSING BEHIND THIS!!!*
